Description
A great spiritual awakening is promised to the Guyana Conference with the arrival of ‘Pentecost and More’ 2010 on January 24.
A reaping evangelistic campaign, ‘Pentecost and More’ will be observed throughout the Inter-American Division. Guyana is the host site for the Caribbean Union Conference.
Activities for ‘Pentecost and More’ in the Union will range from major tent meetings to smaller in-church campaigns. Four major evangelistic campaigns will be conducted during the period in various districts in Guyana by one local and three foreign evangelists:
January 24 - March 6
- Local evangelist, Pastor Preston Patterson: Haslington in the Upper East Coast Demerara District.
- Dr. Clinton Lewis (from Grenada): East Ruimveldt Secondary School compound in Georgetown.
January 31 - March 6
- Pastor Inskip Richards (from Trinidad and Tobago): The play field located on Eleventh Street in the Diamond Housing Scheme on the Lower East Bank Demerara.
February 6 - March 6
- Elder Frankie Thomas (from Trinidad and Tobago): D’andrade Street, Kitty in Georgetown.
The Big Union-wide Baptism Day is scheduled for March 6.
Trinidadian Pastor Clive Dottin, Youth Director of the Caribbean Union Conference, will also conduct a campaign in Guyana from February 20 to March 30 at Hampshire Village in the Corentyne West district in Berbice.
